1. WHICH DELIVERY TYPE AND PAYMENT METHODS ENSURE PROMPT DELIVERY?
We process orders based on the FIFO principle depending on the order placement and payment dates (in case of transfers).
We do our best to complete and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. The shipping time is app 7 working days as of the payment date. Nearly all orders are dispatched within 24h of order placement – the delivery time may be extended only in exceptional cases.
We accept COD and prepayments. Such orders are processed in the same sequence; however for prepayments we suggest transfers via PayPal to ensure automatic posting of funds. It may take even a few days for the funds to be posted when you make a traditional transfer. All payment details for foreign transfers are in CONTACT folder. We deliver by a courier company. Check the shipping date to calculate the estimated delivery date.
2. WHAT’S THE PERCENTAGE OF VITAMIN C IN BIO SERUM VITAMIN C & MULBERRY?
Vitamin c (ascorbic acid) used in the serum is extracted from plants, mainly from all sorts of blueberries such as amla berry (EmblicaOfficinalis) and camucamu berry (Myrciaria dubia).
Serum contains more than 5% of vitamin C . It is combined with mulberry, licorice and peel extract to enhance the treatment of skin discoloration. Altogether, the serum contains over 12% of ingredients used to fight skin pigmentation.
3. HOW IS SLIME FROM SNAIL SLIME SERIES OBTAINED?
The slime is extracted from snails kept in dedicated farms. After some time the snails return to their natural habitat. To ensure the top-quality slime the process needs to be stress-free for the snails. The farmers act with due care and attention to keep the snails healthy and to extract the slime in a cruelty free manner. The farms must also meet strict sanitary requirements.
4. WHO SHOULD USE SNAIL SLIME CREAM?
Natural cream with snail slime is suitable for all skin types thanks to its wide range of beneficial characteristics.
5. WHAT’S THE PERCENTAGE OF SNAIL SLIME IN CREAMS?
We use highly concentrated snail slime in our natural products. Thanks to this unique concentration level our cream is now the most effective product containing snail slime available on the European market. We have performed relevant skin tests and the final formula contains maximally concentrated slime safe for your face and skin around your eyes.
6. HOW TO USE OIL FOR MAKE-UP REMOVAL AND FACE FOAM?
Go for a two-stage cleansing process to get a perfectly clean skin:
1. Put some oil on your dry hands and apply it to your face in circular motion. Remove the oil with a damp cotton pad.
2. Follow-up with Moisturing Face Foam. Pump some foam and gentry massage your face in circular motion. Rinse with water.
7. HOW TO USE BALM BAR?
The bar slightly melts with the heat of your body. Rub your skin directly with the bar or warm it up between your hands and massage into your skin. Orientana balm leaves the skin perfectly smooth and beautifully scented. Keep the balm bar in a dry and cold place. High temperature may soften the bar but it has no negative implications for its quality and effectiveness.
8. CAN PREGNANT AND BREASTFEEDING WOMEN USE ORIENTANA COSMETICS?
Yes, our cosmetics may be used throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding period. Orientana cosmetics are natural products with ingredients safeguarded against the growth of microorganisms or mold with safe preservatives approved for use in natural products. However, you should remember that pregnancy is characterised by hormonal shifts and you may react differently to many ingredients than ever before. During pregnancy your skin may be more sensitive or react stronger to some ingredients. This means that you should observe your skin carefully during pregnancy. You may also find certain scents exceptionally appalling while others disturbing. Given all that we recommend asking for a sample or tester of the cosmetic you intend to buy.
9. ARE ORIENTANA PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS?
Most of our cosmetics are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. They are often marked with a certified Viva sign – for vegans and vegetarians. For ethical reasons, we do not use palm oil and its derivatives in cosmetics. In non-vegan cosmetics we use ingredients of plant origin and animal origin obtained without harm to animals.

11. DOES BIO HENNA COVER GREY HAIR?
Orientana Natural Bio Henna covers all grey hair – you may start with performing a strand test. The final intensity of applied henna depends on the pigmentation level of your hair. If you are looking for a vibrant and vivid colour go for Bio Henna Mahogany Red first. It will cover your grey hair and after next application you will get rich and consistent colour.
12. WHAT ABOUT CERTIFICATES?
We are a small company and certificates are very expensive. Additionally, certificates would substantially increase the price of each product. We can assure you that the ingredients used to produce our cosmetics have been Ecocert certified.
We do not perceive certificates as the exclusive indicator of a product quality and its natural composition.
13. WHY DO INDIVIDUAL BATCHES DIFFER?
Differences in scents or colour shades may result from raw materials used in the production process. The cosmetic ingredients are of natural origin and their parametres may vary even for such reasons as for example the harvesting time of ginger (summer or winter). That’s a common feature of all natural cosmetics.
Crystallisation is a natural and standard process for some natural cosmetics with no adverse impact on product quality.
14. OUR PACKAGING:
We are currently in the process of changing some of our packaging. Starting from next year, new cosmetics will be available in glass packaging. It is a difficult and time-consuming process as there are only two factories producing cosmetic glass in Poland. As you know, we offer the snail slime cream in glass jars and our customers experience temporary shortages of this product because of the factories failure to deliver glass packaging on time. Currently, our supplier is also working on eco-solutions for their production of plastic. And before switching to new packaging we need to perform some stability and compatibility tests for the packaging and our products . We ask for your patience as such tests are longish and tedious but our company will gradually introduce environment-friendly packaging solutions.
15. ARE YOU SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY? WHAT’S THE COST?
Yes, we are sending orders to other countries. The cost is PLN 50/EUR 10 per parcel. We use couriers for delivers within European Union and we send via Polish Post Office to non-EU member states.
