Japanese Cherry

Cherry has been cultivated in Asia and first mentioned in 800 BC. In cosmetics it has a very good influence for skin. Cherries are packed with powerful antioxidants. In fact, they have among the highest levels of antioxidants – containing about the same as blueberries. Cherries contain powerful antioxidants called anthocyanins – 95% which possess anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. They increase skin moisture by 69%. Of the 150 different flavonoids found in plants, anthocyanins appear to have the greatest antioxidant capacity. Cherry is also rich in vitammines: A, B-group, C and E.
